The music design behind this
production began with simple medieval music, growing in grandeur
and becoming heavier and more fully orchestral as the play
unfolded, revealing the darker side of Richard's character.
The themes were plentiful, but
throughout the play the theme associated with Queen Margaret was
always present, swelling at the end of the show as the Queen is
seen watching, laughing, seemingly the orchestrator of Richard's
demise.
